Class Description: This course is an introductory-level class on video game design that does not require previous experience in computer programming. Intro to Video Game Design is a one semester course that explores the fundamentals of game design, computer science, video game history, and current career pathways in video game coding.  It is a fun class, in a positive environment that focuses on the creation of several video games in Javascript or Python programming languages.

Semester 1: We love to play video games, but have you ever wanted to build your own? If you are interested in a career in technology but also want a creative outlet, Game Design might be the field for you. Learn how to build a game from the group in this interactive and hands-on course that will teach you all the ins and outs of making your own game.
